Aloha Saturday everyone! It’s overcast outside and the morning is starting out right. I just ran 5.2 miles and I’m feeling great. Exercise is great for the mind, body and soul. Get out there and get active. We’re not getting any younger and we have to take care of our health. The endorphins help keep our mood pleasant.

It’s easy to get distracted with all the mundane things cluttering our mind. Remember to keep it positive regardless of whatever hardships we’re dealing with. We all have a choice on how we react to the difficult things that arise in our life. We should strive to make the best decisions possible that will keep our well being in tact.

Despite the highest of highs and the lowest of lows, try and keep yourself centered and balanced.

Sometimes, our mood is not in our control when struggling with a mental illness. Seek help and don’t be ashamed. There are millons of people in the world who are dealing with some type of chemical imbalance. It’s just the way life is and we gotta deal with the hand we are dealt. Don’t frown upon yourself. It is probably the worst thing you can do is kick yourself when you’re already down. Stand tall and love yourself with the utmost respect. You must love yourself first before you can love another.

Life is about love. Love can heal the world and that’s what the world needs. There is enough negativity on this planet. We can achieve peace one person at a time. It all begins with a smile. Regardless of your background, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, whatever it is, we are all human beings. Amen!
